Job notes

What we found on this Guildford roof

This roof repair in Guildford started with two problems: the old felt had failed, and the lead gully had various tears in it. Both let water in, so both had to be replaced, not patched.

What we did

Membrane and battens: new membrane and new battens.
Lead gully: a new lead gully in place of the torn one.
Insulation: new PIR insulation installed.
Clay tiles: the same clay tiles re-used where possible.
