What data we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to your enquiry and provide our services:

Enquiry details you give us through our forms, by phone, email or WhatsApp: your name, phone number, postcode, email address (if provided) and any details you share about your roof or property.
Technical data collected automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device and pages visited, via cookies and similar technologies (only where you have consented to non-essential cookies).

We do not knowingly collect special category data and ask that you do not send it to us.

How we use your data and our lawful basis

To respond to your enquiry and provide quotes and roofing services — lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interests in running our business.
To contact you about your enquiry or work in progress — legitimate interests / performance of a contract.
To measure and improve our website and advertising (analytics and Google Ads) — lawful basis: your consent, given through our cookie banner. You can withdraw this at any time.
To meet legal and insurance obligations — legal obligation / legitimate interests.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

We share data only with trusted providers who help us run the website and our business, acting on our instructions:

Netlify — website hosting and secure form processing (your enquiry is delivered to us through Netlify Forms).
Google — Google Ads and related measurement tools, used only with your consent, to understand how our advertising performs.
Communication tools such as email and WhatsApp, where you choose to contact us through them.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as UK/EU approved transfer mechanisms) are in place.

Cookies

Essential cookies — needed for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice. These are always on and do not need consent.

We keep enquiry and customer records only for as long as needed to provide our services, handle guarantees and meet legal, tax and insurance requirements, after which they are securely deleted. Website analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention settings.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you;
ask us to correct inaccurate data;
ask us to delete your data, or restrict or object to its use;
request a copy of your data in a portable format;
withdraw consent for cookies/marketing at any time.
